Since his admission to the law, Robert has focused primarily on the planning and environment law sector and specialises in town planning law, environmental law and local government law.

Julia holds bachelor degrees in Law and Environmental Science and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Julia joined Milne Legal as a paralegal during her studies at university.
Since being admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2017, Julia has worked closely with Robert for more than 5 years and gained a wealth of knowledge in the planning and environment sector.
Julia is particularly skilled at assisting clients with development application appeals, minor change applications and infrastructure charges advice.

Emma holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Bond University. She was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in August 2025.
Since joining Milne Legal, Emma has developed experience across planning and environment law, with a particular focus on Planning and Environment Court appeals, development applications, and providing strategic advice to developers and private clients.
Emma has assisted in a broad range of planning and environment matters, including preparing court documents and submissions, liaising with counsel and expert witnesses, and advising clients throughout the development assessment and approval process.

Vinnie holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Queensland University of Technology and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in August 2023.
Since joining Milne Legal, Vinnie has developed broad experience across planning and environment law, with a focus on Planning and Environment Court appeals, planning and environment prosecutions and enforcement matters on local and state jurisdictions, and minor change applications. He has a demonstrated ability to manage matters independently, prepare hearing material, appear at court reviews, and instruct counsel at hearings.
Vinnie is multilingual, with native proficiency in English and Portuguese and professional working proficiency in Spanish. He is a member of the Queensland Environmental Law Association and has attended the QELA regional and annual conferences.
